John Wallin's Draft Kit

This is a rare instance in which I will recommend that you do, in fact, spend money on draft fantasy resources. The most helpful tool for me in preparing for the fantasy draft season is @FantasyGaffer's draft kit. It features articles about the game, the scoring system, strategy, etc. Most importantly, it also includes rankings for every position and overall rankings. [2019/20 UPDATE]: It appears that this year, Bang Average Pod would prefer that you become a Patreon and subscribe to a monthly fee in order to get the draft kit. If you do so, you WILL receive articles and other valuable information from that membership. However, as you know I'm not in the habit of subscribing to sites, John mentioned on the pod that you can also Venmo him $10 to get the draft kit. I'm sure if you reach out to him on Twitter, he'll get you that info.

There are surprisingly few sites that offer any kind of rankings, be they for draft or the official game. Some take a stab at rankings for the official game, which can be terribly inaccurate for the draft game. But all information is good information when broadening your understanding of how to value players.

Fantasy Football 92 is one of VERY few sites specializing in FPL Draft. They will have positional rankings at the beginning of the Prem season.
Rotowire usually releases a top 200 ranking before the season. This is catered to the OFPL game, but can be helpful for us, too. (This year's - 19/20 - appear to be for subscribers only. You know my stance on that.)
Never Manage Alone from SB Nation contains posts from various writers about a range of topics. They show up in other sections of this site as well. But during the preseason, they post "top" positional breakdowns with an emphasis on OFPL.
Regularly updated rankings, including preseason. All are sorted according to OFPL prices.
FF Genie is new on the scene. He's slammed out a few articles in a matter of days on his brand new blog. It will get more polished as time goes on and he knows his stuff!
This is surprisingly helpful and put out by the Premier League itself. (Miracles do happen.) It's the draft player list with various rankings and points for each player. However, many player positions are different than they are in Draft.
This year (19/20), Draftiola also released rankings via FF92. Here's a link to them as well.
@TheFFChaps have rankings for each position (as well as a wealth of other information) available on Fantrax HQ. Head there for tons of valuable info, team previews, and so much more.
